wispey is designed with privacy as a core principle. Your data stays on your device, and we do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information to external servers.
wispey does not collect any personal data. Specifically:
All AI-powered features, including automatic memo classification, run entirely on your device using Apple Intelligence. No memo content is ever sent to external servers for processing.
If you choose to enable iCloud sync, your memos are synced through Apple's iCloud infrastructure. This is governed by Apple's privacy policy. wispey does not operate any servers — syncing happens directly between your devices via Apple's services.
iCloud sync is optional and disabled by default. You can enable or disable it at any time in the app's Settings.
All memos and app data are stored locally on your device using Core Data. If iCloud sync is enabled, data is additionally stored in your personal iCloud account.
wispey requests microphone access only for voice input. Audio is processed on-device using Apple's Speech framework and is never recorded, stored, or transmitted.
wispey does not use any third-party services, analytics, or advertising frameworks.
wispey does not knowingly collect any information from children. The app does not require any personal information to function.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
